Our ThetaHealing® seminars in Switzerland take place in the beautiful region of Eastern Switzerland. Depending on the seminar, your venue will be in St. Gallen, Altstätten or Kriessern.
Please check the venue listed for your seminar carefully when planning your accommodation and travel, as not all seminars take place at the same location.

The Einstein St.Gallen is located in the heart of St. Gallen, close to the historic Old Town and the UNESCO Abbey District. It is approximately a 6-minute walk from St. Gallen main train station and can also be reached by bus or taxi.

Kriessern is located in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, close to the borders of Austria and Liechtenstein.
Seminars in Kriessern:
The following seminars will take place in Altstätten SG or Kriessern SG.
The exact seminar location is currently being finalized and will be confirmed shortly. Both locations are in the same region of Eastern Switzerland, so you can already begin planning your journey to the area.
If you are booking accommodation before the final venue is confirmed, Altstätten is a convenient place to stay for either location.
If your seminar takes place in Kriessern and you are staying in Altstätten without a car, we can arrange pick-up in the morning and transportation back to Altstätten after the seminar.

Attending a seminar in Kriessern?
You can also book your accommodation in Altstätten. For participants staying in Altstätten and attending a seminar at our Kriessern location, we arrange a pick-up and drop-off service between Altstätten and the seminar venue on seminar days.
This gives you more accommodation options and allows you to stay in Altstätten without having to arrange your own daily transportation to and from Kriessern.
Please first check where your seminar takes place and then explore the accommodation recommendations below.
If your seminar takes place at Hotel Einstein, staying in St. Gallen city is the easiest option. The seminar venue is centrally located, so many hotels and apartments can be reached on foot or by local public transportation.
The easiest option is to stay directly at the seminar venue. This is especially convenient for multi-day seminars, as no daily transportation to the seminar is required.
A centrally located hotel in St. Gallen and another convenient option for participants attending seminars in the city.
A larger hotel in St. Gallen with good access to the city centre and public transportation.
A simpler accommodation option in St. Gallen for participants looking for an alternative to a traditional hotel.
Apartments can be particularly useful if you are staying for several days or prefer to have your own kitchen and more space.
A good option to check if you are looking for more budget-friendly accommodation.
Tip: For seminars at Hotel Einstein, look for accommodation in or around St. Gallen city centre or St. Gallen main station. This makes getting to the seminar and exploring the city much easier.
For seminars taking place at RHYBOOT in Altstätten, staying directly in Altstätten is the most convenient option.
RHYBOOT is located very close to Altstätten SG train station, so accommodation near the station is especially practical if you are travelling without a car.
Altstätten is also a convenient place to stay if your seminar takes place in Kriessern, as we arrange a pick-up and drop-off service between Altstätten and our Kriessern seminar location on seminar days.

If you stay in Altstätten, we arrange a pick-up and drop-off service to and from the Kriessern seminar venue on seminar days.

For longer seminars such as Intuitive Anatomy, an apartment or accommodation with a kitchen can be especially convenient.
Apartment-style accommodation that can be particularly interesting for participants staying in the area for a longer seminar.
Because Kriessern and Altstätten are very close to the Austrian border, staying in Austria can also be an option if you have a car.
The following accommodations are approximately 25–30 minutes from the Altstätten/Kriessern area by car.
Important: We recommend accommodation in Austria primarily for participants travelling by car. If you rely on public transportation, staying in Altstätten or on the Swiss side is more convenient.
For longer seminars, an apartment can be a very comfortable option. Having a kitchen also makes it easier to prepare your own meals and can be especially convenient when attending seminars lasting several weeks.
Airbnb and other booking platforms offer additional rooms and apartments throughout St. Gallen, Altstätten and the Rhine Valley.
When choosing private accommodation, don't look only at the distance on the map. If you will not have a car, check the public transportation connection to your seminar venue before booking.
Book early: For longer seminars and larger events, suitable accommodation can fill up. We recommend arranging your accommodation as soon as your seminar plans are confirmed. If possible, choose a booking with flexible cancellation conditions.
Eastern Switzerland is well connected by plane, train, bus and car. Depending on your seminar location, your main destination will be either St. Gallen or Altstätten SG.
Zurich Airport is the most convenient airport for our Switzerland seminar locations.
The airport has its own train station directly below the terminal, making it easy to continue your journey by train.

Munich Airport is another option, especially if you find a more convenient international flight connection to Munich.
From Munich, you can continue your journey by train toward Switzerland. Train connections are available to St. Gallen and onward to Altstätten SG.
When planning your journey, simply enter your final destination — St. Gallen or Altstätten SG — into the train timetable to see the best connection for your travel date and time.
FlixBus can be a convenient and budget-friendly alternative, particularly if you are travelling from Germany or another nearby European country.
Long-distance bus connections are available to St. Gallen. From St. Gallen, you can continue by train if your seminar takes place in Altstätten or Kriessern.
Switzerland has an excellent public transportation network, and travelling by train is one of the easiest ways to reach our seminar locations.
For planning your journey, you only need to know which of these two destinations to use:
Use St. Gallen as your destination.
St. Gallen has frequent train connections with Zurich, Zurich Airport and other major Swiss cities.
If your seminar takes place at Hotel Einstein, the venue is conveniently located close to St. Gallen main station.
Use Altstätten SG as your destination.
Important: When searching for your connection, make sure you select Altstätten SG, as there are other similarly named destinations.
If your seminar takes place in Altstätten, the RHYBOOT seminar location is only a short walk from Altstätten SG train station.
If your seminar takes place in Kriessern, Altstätten is also a convenient arrival point. Further information about transportation between Altstätten and the Kriessern seminar location will be provided for seminar participants.
Switzerland has an extensive network of trains and buses, making it easy to travel throughout the region without a car.
We recommend using the SBB Mobile app or SBB website to check connections and purchase public transportation tickets.
St. Gallen has a convenient local bus network, and much of the city centre can easily be explored on foot.
Hotel Einstein is centrally located and is approximately a 6-minute walk from St. Gallen main station.
RHYBOOT Jung Rhy is located very close to Altstätten SG train station and can be reached on foot in approximately 3 minutes.
Altstätten is also a convenient place to stay if your seminar takes place in Kriessern.
Kriessern is a smaller village in the Rhine Valley and can be reached by public transportation or car.
Staying in Altstätten without a car? No problem!
If you are attending a seminar at our Kriessern location and are staying in Altstätten, we can arrange pick-up in the befor and transportation back to Altstätten after the seminar.
This makes Altstätten a convenient accommodation option for participants attending seminars in Kriessern, even if you are travelling without a car.
If you are staying somewhere else in the surrounding area, we recommend checking your morning and evening public transportation connections in advance.
# Sightseeing & Exploring Eastern Switzerland
If you are staying a little longer, Eastern Switzerland offers beautiful cities, mountains, lakes and countryside to explore.
### St. Gallen Old Town & Abbey District
St. Gallen's historic Abbey District is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the city's best-known attractions. The district includes the impressive Baroque cathedral and the famous Abbey Library.
It is located in the heart of the Old Town and is easy to explore on foot.
### Drei Weieren
Located above St. Gallen, the Drei Weieren are a beautiful local recreation area with walking paths and views over the city and toward Lake Constance.
During the warmer months, the ponds are also popular for swimming.
### Appenzell & the Alpstein Mountains
The nearby Appenzellerland is known for its traditional villages, green hills and mountain landscape. It is a wonderful option if you would like to experience a more rural side of Switzerland.
### Säntis
At 2,502 metres above sea level, Säntis is one of the most famous mountains in Eastern Switzerland. A cable car from Schwägalp takes visitors to the summit, where the panorama can extend across several countries when conditions are clear.
### Lake Constance
Lake Constance is within easy reach of St. Gallen and the Rhine Valley. Towns such as Rorschach offer lakeside walks and connections for boat excursions during the operating season.
### Altstätten & the Rhine Valley
Altstätten has a picturesque historic centre and is surrounded by the landscape of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley.
The region is also ideally located for excursions toward Appenzell, Lake Constance, Austria and Liechtenstein.

Currency
The official currency of Switzerland is the Swiss franc (CHF). Credit and debit cards are widely used, but having a small amount of CHF available can still be useful.
Language
The local language in St. Gallen and the Rhine Valley is Swiss German. Standard German is used in writing, and English is commonly understood in hotels and many tourist locations.
Weather
Weather in Eastern Switzerland can change quickly, particularly near the mountains. We recommend checking the forecast shortly before travelling and bringing layers, comfortable shoes and rain protection.
Food & Shopping
You will find restaurants, cafés, bakeries, supermarkets and takeaway options throughout the region. Coop and Migros are two of the largest supermarket chains in Switzerland and are convenient options for snacks, drinks and everyday necessities.

ThetaHealing believes in giving back and has created a scholarship program to assist people with reaching their dreams.
A Teacher Assistant is a Certified Instructor who has already taken that seminar and is there to assist students when Vianna breaks them into groups for training. Teachers Assistants are awarded based off number of students in seminar and some may be chosen last minute.
